The satellite dish is gone!

Much to my amazement, yesterday afternoon while we were out walking, I noticed that one of our official Rock and Star landmarks was gone. Finally. This satellite dish, which got tossed and turned in every decent storm, and clearly had not been in use for decades, disappeared over the last few days. Perhaps the owner is getting ready to sell. Perhaps it was Spring cleaning. I don't care. It's gone!Labels: the hills

So, every weekday this school bus parks down my street. It doesn't really bother me, but I think it probably would if I were the person who just moved into the house right across the street from it's parking spot...yesterday there were 2 police cars camped out right behind it, and I thought the driver would be getting a talking to, but here it is right back there today. I think the driver hangs with a friend around the corner in between morning and afternoon shifts. Of course, he wouldn't want to trouble his friend with parking in front of his house...Labels: complaining, school bus, the hills
